There is no problem if your CV is long, the most important is to prepare so that it describes clearly your experiences relevant to the mission. (Your CV has to sell you!)

Restrictions: In case consultants are short listed, they must be able to provide documentary evidence for educational and professional items in their CVs (copies of diplomas, copies of employers’ reference letters, etc.). Documents those are not available in English have to be accompanied by a faithful translation. This is mandatory requirement for Europe Aid tenders.

DESCRIPTION

 

Qualifications:

Key expert 1: Monitoring Expert and Team Leader (Category Senior-115 working days)

 

The team leader will be responsible of the following:

– General supervision and coordination of all activities of the Team;

– Managing relations with Intermediary Organisations;

– Monitoring and follow-up of activities;

– Drafting and submitting required reports to submit to the Contracting Authority;

– Information/communication about the activities and effective dissemination of results.

 

Qualifications and skills

– Academic profile: at least a Masters-level university degree (4 years) preferably in business, economics, finance or other relevant subjects.

– Full command of English and French is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic would be an asset.

– Proven management and organization skills.

– Sound experiences in multi-cultural environments are required.

 

General professional experience

– At least 10 years of experience in a management position, of which at least 3 years as a team leader (i.e. experience in project management and team coordination).

 

Specific professional experience

– Minimum 10 years entrepreneurial experience of which at least 5 in the Mediterranean region.

– Experience with European development programmes and Project Cycle Management is a pre-requisite.

– At least 5 years working experience with monitoring/evaluation of projects funded by international organisations.

 

Key expert 2: Technical Assistance Expert (Category Senior-115 working days)

 

The technical assistance expert will be responsible for providing ad-hoc technical assistance on request and based on the gaps identified and proposed solutions, under the supervision of the team leader, and supporting him/her in his/her tasks.

 

Qualifications and skills

– Academic profile: at least a Masters-level university degree (4 years) preferably in business, economics, finance or other relevant subjects.

– Full command of English and French is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic would be an asset.

– Proven management and organization skills.

– Sound experiences in multi-cultural environments are required.

 

General professional experience

– At least 10 years of professional experience in technical assistance projects funded by international organisations.

 

Specific professional experience

– Minimum 5 years entrepreneurial experience of which at least 2 in the Mediterranean region.

– Experience with European development programmes and Project Cycle Management is a pre-requisite.

– Experience with communication activities;

 

Note that civil servants and other staff of the public administration of the beneficiary country cannot be recruited as experts, unless prior written approval has been obtained from the European Commission.
